Art Exhibition Celebrates Place & Fundraises for Cottesloe Community Groups

  • Art Exhibition: New Ken Rasmussen exhibition of oil paintings at The Grove Library, Peppermint Grove
  • Community Fundraiser: Artist donating 10% of Studio sales to local community organisations

Artist Ken Rasmussen is launching a new exhibition at The Grove Library on 4 November. The works feature paintings of Cottesloe, Rottnest, Margaret River and Mosman Bay.

The artist has a program allowing registered local schools, clubs and community associations to fundraise, with 10% of the sale price of paintings sold through the Studio contributed to them.

The free exhibition runs from 4-16 November at The Grove Library, 1 Leake Street, Peppermint Grove and is open during normal library hours.

Ken says:

"Cottesloe is so wonderful. The charm of the village, the little pine forest and the beach. I love how people gather here with friends and family. Connection is something to really celebrate. Community groups are so important for bringing people together so I’m very happy to support them through any sales from this exhibition."

Schools and community groups wishing to fundraise from the exhibition sales need to register with Ken's Community Association Program at the following address:

Prior to or while purchasing a painting, buyers will need to nominate the registered association they wish to support.

Ken Rasmussen is a successful West Australian landscape artist. He is best known for his major works of the Margaret River region. In recent years Ken has developed a modern impressionist style and his work 'All The People That Make Up The Community' won the People’s Choice Award at the recent 2019 Claremont Art Awards.
