Peaceful Mosman Bay

This was a smoky Perth day. You get this kind of light when they’ve been burning off toward the end of winter. Smoke drifts in over the city. I actually love the smoke haze because you get these beautiful soft light effects. It’s just lovely. During the afternoon it becomes even more diffused. It’s just softer and silkier. Even though this is an oil painting it is as if I am drawing onto a piece of paper.
