Rottnest Holiday

This is a view of the city of Perth over Rottnest. We are looking back across Cottesloe over to the city, the Swan River and Canning River and their bridges – the Narrows Bridge, Guildford Bridge, the Canning Bridge and Mt Henry Bridge, and the Fremantle Bridge.

It is mid afternoon. Visiting Rottnest Island takes us back to that sense of wonder we had as a kid. We stand on the island and look back to where we’ve come from. We forget our turmoil and troubles. The beauty of the day is all there before us.
