From Hale We Soar

Hale is set against the backdrop of Perth and its dual personality of ocean and river. The painting takes in Perth’s north, from City Beach and its surrounding suburbs, across the lakes to Perth. The CBD is the heart of business, the university shows our love of education, and the port shows our industry and connection to the world. Birds in flight represent the freedom of purpose that comes from the tremendous foundation of a great education, you can see them taking take off into the world and becoming a part of the great metropolis of arts, business and industry.
