Rottnest Star Shower

I have a lovely memory of Rottnest. I am standing on the small jetty in Thomson Bay. A group of excited children are fishing for squid with their parents. It’s dark and I am looking back towards the settlement and the sea wall. All the houses have their lights on. You can see Board Cottage in the right foreground. There’s the boathouse with the green door there in the centre. The stars are playful because Rottnest is a place of delight and discovery for children.
