The World Turns Around Us |
Our homes are the centre of our universe, and we live like the whole world is turning around us. The places we love bring a smile to our face and health to our hearts.

Here We Are Surrounded by a Life of Adventure |
We can escape down south to vineyards and villages or take a boat out to Rottnest. We can let Fremantle surprise us or find the perfect beach somewhere. Look at this beautiful life full of adventure.

Margaret River, Under The Water And Up In The Sky |
The Margaret River and its forest lead us. We look down into the river and see the warm rich tones of the shallows. Above us the birds soar through the sky. Here we become a lighter version of ourselves.

Midsummer Margaret River Dream |
One by one the village windows light up. A moon rises through the forest. There’s a magical sense as the evening eases us into another night of gentle dreams.

The Village on the Margaret River |
I love the Margaret River flowing past the village. Birds soar through the forest. There is a soothing rhythm here that’s clearing of the mind and refreshing for the spirit.

City Of The Sun |
We have so many days of sunshine here in Perth. The light lifts our spirits like the birds take to the sky.

The Place We Found Each Other |
The South West is a treasure map of memories and special connections. The whales symbolise this coming together and how we have moved through time, staying close to each other. The artwork includes many well known locations, such as Margaret River township, the Margaret River, Prevelly & Gnarabup Beach, Cowaramup, Canal Rocks, Yallingup, Bunker Bay, Eagle Bay, Meelup Beach, Dunsborough, Busselton and the Busselton Jetty, Fremantle Cottesloe and Perth, the Swan River and Rottnest.

Our South West Adventure |
So many of our most precious stories are set in the South West. These places live in our hearts, remembering for us the pathways we have taken and the connections we have made.

The Light That Guides Us Home |
The Rottnest Island lighthouse is casting its spell of safety over our people. It’s guiding them on their journey home.

Nightfall Over The South West |
In this painting of the south western corner of Australia, I want to express feelings of joy and celebration of this place and its generous spaces. I delight in its colours and the freedom of living here.

Emerald City Travellers |
The morning sun is reflecting off the Opera House. Sydney is a big box of liquorice allsorts. There’s Botany Bay and the wharves at the harbour’s edge. Below the water, and up at the sky, the hunters start their day.

Living With Our Whole Hearts |
We live in this wonderful place, the vast metropolis of Perth. This work look at Perth from the north over the forest and lakes and playing fields of our green northern suburbs. The Perth CBD is flanked by the Swan River, which joins with the Canning River to make its gentle way to the Indian Ocean. Looking down the coast, you can see from City Beach to Cottesloe and Fremantle, and down to Garden Island and beyond, right down to the beautiful jetty at Busselton and the lighthouse at Cape Naturaliste.

The Sun Temple |
Perth is a metropolis of the river and ocean, water flows all around us. We love the warmth and sunlight. At the heart of our city is the Sun Temple, the iconic Indiana Tea House and famous Cottesloe Beach building that serves as a monument to our love of the sun. Here is where we give thanks for the freedom and safety of this place.

Big Margaret River Water Lily Pool Moon |
I love the moon rising through the forest down at Margaret River. You can see it reflected on the water lily pools. You can hear the whisper of bird wings in the trees high up overhead.

Village By The Shore |
Here is Fremantle. It reminds me so much of an Edwardian port village. It’s re-invented itself through the University and cafes. It’s been brought to life by the migrants who share their cafes, delis and generous hearts. There are so many surprises to open in this place. You can see the port, the lighthouses, the railway line, the park and the Ferris wheel. Add all to that, the cargo ships, the containers, Cottesloe and Dingo. Someone described this as Christmas in a landscape painting.

Over The River |
Looking across Mosman Bay towards Claremont in the late afternoon light, the water takes on the reflected colours of the clouds in the sky. The sailboats, rooftops and trees are luminous.

Margaret River by Moonlight |
It’s wonderful to arrive in Margaret River after the drive down from Perth. You are crossing the river as the moon is rising. You can see the township through the trees. This is the moment when a holiday really begins.

On Canning Waters |
This artwork looks across the Canning River and Salter Point towards the city, with the life of the river and the colour of the suburbs spilling across the landscape.

The Breeze off the Bay |
The breeze coming in from the bay is so lovely in the summer. You can see the ripples moving across the surface of the water. There is the sunlight in slices. White sails are reflected. You can feel the cooling of a mid-summer day.

Big Blue Mosman |
For me, this was an exciting discovery piece. It is about the late afternoon with the sea breeze and the setting sun. It’s between, say 5:00 and 8:00 during the summer twilight. This is a wonderful view to paint, it is one of my favourites.

Rottnest Party |
Sometimes the clouds over Rottnest are just like party balloons. You can see Cottesloe and the cargo ships and whales in the shipping lanes. For children the island and the ships are all part of a grand adventure.

Kingdom By The Sea |
What a place this is to live. Each of us can move freely through these wonderful spaces. It is a treasure map, come to life.

Glowing Heart of the City |
Nearing twilight, over the water you can feel the glow of the city’s heart.

Coffee on Rocky Road |
I love the sound of Rokeby Road in Subiaco because it sounds like Rocky Road. The thing I love about streets like this is that they tend to attract really talented bakers, cake makers and baristas. There are bookshops and a more relaxed pace. Boucla has always been my favourite cafe.

Places In Our Heart |
This painting is an embrace of all my favourite places. From the vineyards and lighthouses down south, Busselton Jetty, Fremantle, Cottesloe and Rottnest and the beautiful Swan river waterways. I’ve painted the birds soaring to capture that feeling of being on holidays and getting away.

Major Arterials |
Life flows through the heart of the city from the north to south. Roads, railways, waterways and wildlife. A vibrant celebration. A treasured pattern of connection to each other.

Be Still My Beating Heart |
I love the stillness of the water lilies on Margaret River. The birds are coming to rest, just as we do. This is the peaceful place that works its magic. It breathes life back into us and we see beauty again.

They Lift Our Hearts With Joy And Discovery |
These are our fun places. They lift our hearts with joy and discovery. Here we live, surrounded by a life of adventure.

Rising River Kingdom |
I am struck by the majesty of this city, set against the river and the vastness of the sea.

Sydney Deep Dive |
It is wonderful to explore Sydney with its harbour and secret little coves. You can lose yourself in the backstreets and find surprises and extraordinary colours around every corner.
